• Will Grow you spiritually, I Peter 2:1-2, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow"

• Will give you direction, Psalms:119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path"

• Will show you God’s will, Romans 12:2, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will"

• Will help you overcome temptation, Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you"

• Will alleviate confusion, Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart".

• Will encourage & give hope, Romans 5:4, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope"

• Will be a blessing to you, Psalm 1:1-6, "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
